Our Mission
Our mission as a studio is to spread the gospel and to glorify Christ through film and animation. We plan to make a variety of content that is all centered around God, Jesus and the Bible, specifically aiming at the teen/young adult age. We want to show that Christianity is filled with interesting storeis and concepts that haven't been entirely explored.
Future Vision
God willing, we will have an up and running, self sustaining establishment with a full team in the next 5-10 years. We are looking to produce multiple mediums of entertainment such as film, live action tv shows, short films and various different types of animations.
Our Needs
Currently there are only two of us, so we desperately need to build a team. The projects we have in mind are rather big and we just don't have the resources and time to work on them alone. We are also looking for an accountant and marketer, who share the same core values as we do. If you're interested, let us know.
Current Projects
Ha Derekh (The Way)
Synopsis:
Ha Derkeh follows the life of Eve Williams as she goes through various struggles. We see her life split into two separate scenes, a spiritual and physical which reflect each other. Eve starts to separate herself more and more from God as different temptations arise in the physical world causing her spiritual world and self to slowly deteriorate.
Inspiration:
Ha Derekh was first formed out of a spontaneous thought from Kenzie. We just built up on that thought, incorporating the knowledge of God and the Bible that we had at the time. We wanted to show a story that expressed what separatinzg from God might look like and how doing that affects our spiritual lives.
Progress:
Currently we have reached the clean ups stage of the project. Our aim is to complete this short film by the end of 2021.
Aleph Talks
Aleph Talks is a YouTube podcast we set up to discuss different Christian topics from the perspective of us and our age range of teens/young adults.
We started with the intention of being a discussion based podcast rather than an informative one as we have acknowledged that we don’t know or understand much that has to do with Christiany, God and the Bible. Instead we wanted to be able to have a conversation about different aspects within Christianity and how we see and deal with them as young believers.
Upcoming Projects
Ha Davar (The Word)
Ha Davar is aimed to be an animated series of the Bible. It is still undecided how long the series will go on for but we would like to take key parts from throughout the Bible and show them creatively.
Since the project will be based off of the Bible, it will always be important to ensure that the context and meaning are accurately taken and portrayed in each episode.
It is a big project that will carry a lot of responsibilty and weight to it as we will be attempting to reiterate the word of God through the creative application of animation.
The Lead
The Lead will be a 12-24 episode animated series which follows a group of Christian high school students and their journey approaching relationships and romance.
This series was created with the idea of expressing troubles that come with being a young Christian who is getting into romantic relationships and how God and His word help us in it all. The Lead is also another big animation project that will take a lot of time and work but it’s more of a fun project that will deal with a lot of comedic scenarios and emotional moments.
This Time
This Time is intended to be a live action film series. If we are able to, we so have plans for a second movie in the distant future.
This Time follows a young man who is visiting home from university after hearing of his Grandmothers passing. After the funeral, he ends up taking a step back in time and becomes trapped in the past with his 20 year old grandparents. Whilst there, we watch his journey into Christiany and what it means to have a relationship with God.
This project was formed around the idea of Christianity that had been lost in the generations and not been passed down or ignored. We don’t see happening for a while as we need a larger team with more specified skillsets and also requires more resources than the animated projects.
The Restoration
The Restoration is aimed to be a live action TV series that has 10-12, 40-60min long episodes. It will be a Christian-Thriller that tackles issues with mental illness.
The Restoration follows a young Christian girl who wakes up in the body of and older woman with a husband and children in an atheist houshold. She is told that she has a mental illness that causes her memories to be altered and that the life she thought she had was an complete fabrication of her mind. Now she has to live as a completely different person whose life is not centered around God.
We made this project based on the idea that God meets people where they are and that he reaches out to those who live suffering with mental illnesses.
Help
Since we are an upcoming business, there are lot of areas in which we are lacking and the biggest one is team members. In order to start and complete any of the projects that we have planned, we need to have a bigger and functioning team.
We are looking for people with various different skills such as: storyboard artists, concept designers, animators, directors, camera men and more. Again, since we are just starting the business we don’t have the funds to pay anyone just yet, so we are looking for people who are either passionate about the Lord and want to use their skills to spread the word or people who want to gain some experience in theor field of work.
Our business is also in need of an accountant and marketer to become part of the founding team. These members would need to be Christians whose goal is Jesus and who share a similar goal and passion for what we are doing because we want our company to be built on Christian values.
